First Life Drawing Session

Something I’d never done before, but felt I needed to develop my skills. I normally draw from Photograph which some might say is kinda cheating, so now im practising in life drawing.

So I started at home in the day drawing my dad, FULLY CLOTHED BTW. Other wise it would just be wierd.

Then in the evening, at a life drawing session that I found online in the next town, I continued with a Life model.

Luckily the model was a good looking female with a nice body. The first two where 20 minute pose.

The final pose was for 40 minutes, which ended up being the one I was most pleased with. I even had time to fit in couple of the blokes in the background.

Another Illustration I done of Charlotte during her photo shoot with Chris.
This one was her favourate, and I’m also quite pleased with it too. I think that at this angle I’ve clearly captured the sceen, and shown the way Chris gets the effect in his photography, with the use of filters attached to his camera.
To the right is the photograph taken by Chris at the shoot.

This time I had to be very discreet while capturing this image as Chris took a sneaky shot of these two women at a local cafe. Im not sure if they realised what we were up to, they already looked very miserable so couldn’t really go by the look on there faces.

Going to be a grate addition to my book ‘Drawings of Photography’.
